March Hares
March Hares
The bears have been out and about trying to spot some hares this month but have always come home disappointed.
Hare Lying Down
Then Jane suggested a day out at a nearby National Trust property. They are all members of the National Trust and they can visit all the National Trust stately homes and gardens for free once they have paid their membership fees. That means they can go as often as they want and see the gardens in all seasons without it costing too much.
Jane took them to a place called Hare Hill Gardens which is near Alderley Edge in Cheshire. Even at this time of year there were lots of pretty flowers around.
Running Hare
There were crocuses, and primroses, hellebores, snowdrops and daffodils. And they took a picnic to eat in the walled garden. The weather was lovely so it was a good day to go out.
